WeCom, like WeChat, is primarily designed for mobile usage but also offers a desktop version. To begin, it's recommended to start by downloading the mobile app and setting up your account before using the desktop version.

You can find the WeCom mobile app in your device's app store. Simply search for "WeCom" and download it. Alternatively, you can use the QR codes provided below to access the Android and iOS versions.

Registration process

The registration process in WeCom varies based on whether your company is already registered on the platform, and you are creating an account as a standard employee known as an "End User," or if you are the CEO tasked with registering the company on WeCom for the first time, thus creating an "Admin User."


To begin your journey with WeCom and set up your account, you will need to follow distinct steps based on your organization's status within WeCom. In the following sections, we will provide guidance on creating both an Admin Account and an End User account to ensure a smooth and efficient process.


Creating an Admin Account (For Organizations Not Registered on WeCom): If your organization is not yet registered on WeCom, you can create an Admin Account to get started:

  1. Begin by visiting the official WeCom website. You can do this by opening your web browser and searching for "WeCom."

  2. Look for the "Sign Up" or "Register" button, located at the top right corner of the website. Click on this button to initiate the registration process.

  3. During the registration process, you will be asked to provide your WeChat ID or mobile number. It's crucial to ensure that you have the authority to represent your organization and create an Admin Account.

  4. Fill in your WeChat ID, email address, and mobile number accurately. Make sure that the information you provide is true, accurate, and up-to-date, as WeCom maintains strict verification processes to ensure that only legitimate companies can register.

  5. As part of the registration process, you will be required to agree to WeCom's Terms of Service and the WeCom Acceptable Use Policy.

  6. After agreeing to the terms, click the "Create Account" or "Sign Up" button. Depending on the registration method you chose, you may need to verify your email or phone number by entering a code sent to your email or mobile.

  7. Once your Admin Account is created, you will have access to various tools and controls. As an Admin User, you can manage permissions, facilitate communications among End Users in your organization, and more.

  8. If you are the first Admin User to create an Admin Account for your organization, you will be designated as the "Super Admin." The Super Admin has additional tools and controls for managing Admin Users and customizing Account settings.

  9. If necessary, the Super Admin can also submit the organization for verification as per the WeCom Verification Service Terms and corresponding verification requirements.

Creating an End User Account (For Organizations Already Registered on WeCom): If your organization is already registered on WeCom, you can create an End User Account by following these steps:

  1. Wait to receive an invitation from an Admin User within your organization. This invitation will typically be sent to your WeChat ID, email address, or mobile number. You can also search for your organization without an invitation, and apply to become an End User under the organization. You will then have to wait for an Admin User to approve of your application.

  2. Once you receive the invitation or your application gets accepted, follow the link or instructions provided to create your End User Account.

  3. Provide the requested information, which may include your WeChat ID, email address, or mobile number.

  4. Verify your account, if required, by entering a code sent to your email or mobile.

  5. During the account creation process, you'll need to agree to WeCom's Terms of Service and the WeCom Acceptable Use Policy.

  6. After agreeing to the terms, click the "Create Account" or "Sign Up" button.

  7. Your End User Account is now created, and you can start using WeCom for communication and collaboration within your organization.

After registering the company and setting up accounts for each individual employee, WeCom is very easy and intuitive to use, and you can begin utilizing all the features WeCom has to offer.
